The Tomorrow People was formed when a collection of wood-grained synthesizers and sensible beige computers gathered together for a mind-altering jam session. The album reflects the literary new-wave of sci-fi; a jazzy, humanist approach to the man-machine dichotomy. Elements of dub, post-rock, and IDM are spliced with the hypnotic qualities of ‘70s krautrock, making for the sort of music that gets played regularly at the Korova Milk Bar in a Clockwork Orange.
